Audi has decorated its e-tron GT with a single-frame grille, which was originally housed in the front bumper. A back band has been treated in the spirit of the brand's new high-end models (Audi A8 and Audi A7 Sportback) and athletic shaped wings. But let's not be fooled: The flag line and the side windows are the ones of the Porsche Taycan, The future 100% electric four-door sedan, which results from the Porsche Mission E concept, which will be launched in 2019.

e-tron GT: a sporty family

theThe concept of the Audi e-tron GT develops a total output of 434 kWthe equivalent of 590 ch, Accelerations are lively: Movement from 0 to 100 km / h is provided in 3,5 s. Twelve seconds are enough to reach 200 km / h. To ensure sufficient autonomy, the maximum speed is limited to 240 km / h. Room for maneuver – the true key to success for any electric vehicle – Audi announces 400 kilometers according to the new WLTP protocol.

"The autonomy of the Audi e-tron GT is 400 km"

Lithium-ion batteries have a capacity of 90 kWh, they have a high capacity for charging in braking phases. Expect a delay of 0.3 g. Audi points out that this "engine brake" is suitable for 90% of situations in which the vehicle has to be braked. For "heavy" braking Carbon / ceramic discs Take care of the grain.

Digital and minimalistic

The Audi e-tron GT has a 4-seater cabin.

The interior of the Audi e-tron GT takes on four digital seats and takes on the digital architecture of the brand's new high-end models. It's not surprising The universe is completely digital The instrumentation is displayed on a plate in front of the driver and two touchscreens are embedded in the center console.

The dashboard of the e-tron GT is clearly part of the 100% digital universe of the brand's latest achievements.

The first is Panorama, while the second, with much smaller dimensions, conceals the air conditioning interface. On board the buttons were reduced to a minimum: The controls are tactile or gestural, The shapes are clear and the atmosphere is high-tech, but surprisingly, the concept of the Audi e-tron GT does not include cameras for external retrovision, while the Audi e-tron SUV offers them as an option.

A very fast charge

Audi e-tron charging socket

The charging socket is located on the left front fender.

To charge the Audi e-tron GT, several methods are possible. Use a cable connected behind an electrically-opening cover on the left front fender.

It's the same system as the Audi e-tron SUV. To avoid getting dirty hands, an induction solution is also possible. Then, however, it is necessary to park in a certain place, and the charge will inevitably be longer, counting a whole night.

"With the 800-volt technology, the distance of 320 km takes only 20 minutes "

For busy owners there will also be a system with a voltage of 800V. In this case, 80% of the load is filled in twenty minutes, which can be up to 320 km. However, this forced load can permanently affect the reliability of the battery. Audi therefore recommends a slower load.
